#urban, #cool, #morelandphotography……..We wanted to go urban and take our workshop on location in Atlanta…….so we scouted out venues and found some amazing areas. Industrial, grafatti walls, tunnel, broken brick walls and lots of textures…..I think, as you view the images that follow, you will easily agree that everyone who attended had a great time, learned a ton and captured some hip, urban photos. We showed how to control lighitng, make lighting from off camera soft boxes and to use video lighting in the tunnel. We taught composition, choice of lenses, camera angels and how to be a creative photographer. Ria, Joseph and Doug were all great models. #
Finding great textures for backgrounds can make or break your shot. Then the composition can take the ordinary into something artistic and creative. So be creative!Using this cool tunnel as a background and all we did is pull her to the end of it so the daylight would illuminate her. Shooting in cloudy white balance make her look great and the warm tungsten lighting in the background add some impact.Love having my subjects just look back at me with their personality, moms love their daughter smiling but I love them smiling only with their eyes.Find out everything about your clients and let them do what they love to do.We went back into the tunnel and with the camera set to tungsten white balance and with a video light and a tungsten gel we go the shot on the left.
