Master Light to capture those sweet moments in life.

"Learn how to properly use Light and Composition to always perfectly capture a special moment."

Who this is made for?

First for our participant's health, safety, and learning experience, our workshops are limited to no more than 8 students. This workshop is curated for those who have a a basic understanding of exposure/lighting and want to learn more! This workshop continues where the Beginner workshop leaves off. If you do not understand lighting and how to use your manual mode on your camera, we strongly recommend that you first complete our beginner workshop. During this hands-on workshop we are going to teach you all about lighting from shooting daytime, sunset, and dusk.

In our Intermediate photography workshops, we meet at The Vine Photography Venue (433 Pumpkinvine Rd Acworth, GA 30101). To end the workshop, we are going to travel to a nearby beautiful lake to shoot at sunset and dusk. In this workshop, you are not only going to learn a ton about lighting and exposure, but you are also going to walk away with amazing images from the workshop.

"Create unforgettable images with off camera flash"

Diversify your skills

The techniques you learn in our Introduction and Intermediate classes can be applied to all areas of photography; whether you're a sports photographer, product photographer, you love landscapes, or you just want to take better images of your children. We'll teach you how to capture timeless moments with your digital camera.

Pre-COVID workshop with getting out for real experiential practice.

Our Value is You

What sets us apart from other photography workshops comes next: We go on location and YOU do the shooting with professional lighting equipment. We are going to teach you how to create a variety of lighting situations. We'll show you lots of different lighting-troubleshooting as well as creative techniques to get a variety of looks. This all happens while you are doing the shooting! Our Instructors are always with the group, helping students on a one-on-one base, while also instructing the class as a whole.

If that wasn't enough, we believe learning goes past the act of taking pictures. Send in pictures you took during the workshop (which we showcase on our gallery at the top) and we will send you a feedback video on your images. This video will have the critique of your images and also the images of the other atendees. A bonus is that Mike and his associates create a video which goes over how they got the results they did! These two videos will be very helpful.

Have difficulties with depth of field and capturing your subject and background properly? No problem, we will show how to get proper exposure on both!

"We will teach how to capture these Epic moments."

Lighting...To the Next Level

We understand that lighting can be tricky to understand. This course is to provide a bridge of understanding and experience to elevate your capability to capture and create light in your photos. Our goal is to teach you how to control artificial light and use natural light for your creavitiy in capturing a photo. Whether you have experience in off-camera flash & lights or not, this course is a great way to develop those important lighting skills.

Natural lighting is your friend. Always capture the best lighting for your shoots.

"We will teach you how to take well exposed and radiant sunrise/sunset photos"
