Studio Rental FAQ
Q: Can I use the house, barn, and grounds for the time I rent?
A: You can either rent the barn with the grounds or the house with the grounds. If you rent the house and the grounds for example but you also want to use the barn, that is not problem if nobody else rented the barn (no additional charge). The only way to guarantee the both the barn and house with the grounds is to rent both.

Q: Can I use the furniture and props in the house or barn?
A: Yes, any furniture, props and wardrobe can be used at no additional charge.

Q: Do you provide strobes, light stands and modifiers?
A: Included in your rental upon request is a two-light kit with stands and modifiers. Additional lighting is available at additional charges.

Q: Is there a limit to the number of people that can come to a shoot?
A: Yes, the base fee is based on one photographer, one assistant and up to five clients at one given time. Shoots can be booked with larger number of people and photographers, but additional fee may apply.

Q: Can a photographer schedule min session?
A: Yes, but call to discuss

Q: Do you have options for tabletop photography?
A: Yes, we have many backgrounds, surfaces plus a full kitchen.

Q: Can I guarantee privacy for boudoir photography?
A: Yes, you will have complete privacy. Please call to discuss

Q: If I book only the grounds, will there be places for my clients to change or go to the restroom.
A: Yes, there are plenty of places to change and the house has three bathrooms.

Q: Can I book a shoot at night?
A: Yes, that is an option but call to discuss and for rates

Q: Do you have different options for the bedrooms?
A: Yes, we have many different bedding options and drapes. If you let us know the look you want, then we will have it all set up before you arrive

Q: Is there a discount for booking 8 hours or more time on a single day?
A: Typically, there is a 15% discount, but it all depends on the situation and time of day.

Q: When do I pay you to book the studio time?
A: For hourly shoots you would pay the rental in advance or ½ of day rate fee (shoots 8 hours or more) with the balance due the day of the shoot. We would email you an agreement where you can pay online

Q: How many other photo shoots could be happening at the same time as my shoot?
A: When you rent the house then you are the only photographer to use the house and the same with the barn. Someone could book to shoot on the grounds but we have four acres of property so that will not be an issue. At most there could be someone shooting in the house, someone shooting in the barn and someone shooting on the grounds.

Q: Do you have assistants to help us on a photo shoot?
A: If you give me plenty of notice, then I can recommend assistants to help you. You would pay them separately for their time.

Studio Rental Policies
- You must leave the barn, house and property in the same condition as it was when you arrive to avoid any additional fees. Lights, furniture, props and backgrounds need to be put back up the way you found it. Trash, food and anything you bring needs to be cleaned up after the shoot.
- No smoking in the house or barn
- If you shoot full length shots on a seamless background, then there is a $3 per foot fee if we need to cut off some of the seamless because it got dirty.
- You fee starts when you arrive and end when you leave. Please budget your time for set up and clean up.
- We have apple crates, scrims, light stands, background poles, backgrounds, furniture, props, wardrobe and accessories plus reflectors, diffusion panels, green screens, beauty dishes, soft boxes, octa boxes and more. Please let us know when you book the space what all you need.
- You can walk all over the space you rent and use anything you see as long as you put it back. However, do not go into the barn if you rent the house or the house if you rent the barn to take out furniture, props etc. if someone is in there shooting.
- We can recommend hair and make up artist, stylist or assistants upon request.
- You are renting the space and the fee does not include a photographer or assistant
- Anyone that books time will be required to sign a liability release form where you will be liability for you and anyone that you arrange to come to the shoot. You are solely responsible for any injuries, damage to the studio or property and cleaning.
- No more then four cars at one time is included in the rental agreement. Contact us to discuss if your needs are different
