Learning flash with still photography can be one of those very overwhelming subjects. There are a million different ways and settings to achieve one simple look. At our intermediate hands-on photography workshop, we start off slow by teaching troubleshooting of tricky lighting situations. Including, but not limited to poor indoor lighting, poor and dark or spotty outdoor lighting. We help students over come these obstacle with just a few tricks. Then we move on to introduce students into using on and off camera flash. What settings to have everything on, how to angle the light to not blind or wash out your subject and more! Here are a few images from our most recent Flash Photography Workshop.

We also invite students to send in images not from the workshop, in their own environment so we can give feedback when there aren’t instructors around. Tara was one of our intermediate students, sent us these pictures of their adorable baby goats! Perfect quick moving subjects to practice on!
