Studio Lighting Photography

This workshop is geared for a little bit of every stage of photographers. It’s great for people who want to master difficult indoor lighting situations. We’ll begin with a Flash 101, helping you better understand what good flash and very bad flash looks like. We’ll work our way to on and off camera flash, and how to create quality studio lighting with your flash and give you advice about which modifiers make all the difference. We’ll use all sorts of artificial lighting from multiple strobes to on camera flash, to demonstrating how we use video lighting in our still photography business regularly. Our extensive knowledge will help you understand the power of ambient light and flash additives in the studio environment, beginning with a basic understanding of studio light and ending with advanced studio light set ups often used for high-end commercials sports and advertising photography. From family studio portraiture to commercial, editorial and fashion advertising, you’ll be a professional on how to coordinate efficient lighting set ups and hit the correct exposures.
