Photography by definition is the study of light. So it makes sense, that a good photograph has good lighting. At our dSLR Photography Basics course, we begin with the technical aspects of how to shoot in manual mode. This means we teach you how the camera is capturing light.
Then we go out on location with several models and we teach you several things. First, how to see light. Second, how to manipulate light. And thirdly, putting the classroom technical with your eye, how to capture the light in the way you want to capture it.
One of the best things about photography is that three different people can have the same scene to photography, and all three people will photograph it differently.
So at all of our dSLR Photography Basics workshops, we do something very unique. We are a hands on photography workshop studio. Instead of sitting at your computer, watching a video, then succeeding or failing by trial and error, we put into practice everything we’ve just taught. With at least 3 professionals at every workshop, we are immediately available to answer questions, to guide you to success and make sure you feel comfortable how to use your dSLR.
